Chief Operating Officer

Ben Barry is the Chief Operating Officer at Moradi Saslaw and leads all financial, administrative, talent, and technology functions for the Firm. He is a seasoned executive with experience working across all aspects of operations to build healthy, growing businesses.

At our Firm, Ben builds innovative processes that help develop the practices of our partners and associates. He brings a unique view on how to cultivate leaders and legal talent through his years in the legal sector as well as in the corporate finance, healthcare, and insurance industries. Ben empowers attorneys, paralegals and staff members to achieve the best results for our clients while also ensuring a supportive experience.

As a core member of our leadership team, Ben works with our Partners to develop our strategic plans and then guides the Firm step-by-step to accomplish its goals. He is committed to ensuring an efficient, professional, and positive working environment, where all team members can thrive and achieve their full potential.

Leading in the Legal Industry  

  • Prior to joining Moradi Saslaw, Ben was a senior executive at one of the nation’s 10 largest global law firms, where he led multinational transformational initiatives that significantly improved revenue growth while also reducing expenses.
  • Over his 20+ year career, he has led the introduction and growth of new products and service lines in multiple industries that, combined, have generated over $100 million annually.
  • He has a passion for operational excellence and is an expert in multiple methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma.
  • Ben received his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
  • He has a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Macalester College.

Prior to this role, Ben was an executive at Baker & McKenzie, MetLife, TruthMD, The Doctors Company, and Allied Administrators. Early in his career, he worked at the Environmental Protection Agency, focusing on its World Trade Center recovery effort at ground zero in lower Manhattan, earning an Agency award for his work. He also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Jordan from 1999-2001 and currently volunteers for the Kensington Municipal Advisory Council.
